4AGE board assembly
Hello everybody,
Im new to whole MS thing, first time assembled any standalone ECU.
I have toyota 4AGE bigport 7rib with AFM atm.
I would like someone to see what I did and tell me is it ok, do I need something else to get my engine running?
I am a bit confused right now, on the addapter board I have to sets for holes with the same names...
first set of holes are in rectangle marked as GND, and second set is normal
On diypnp site I saw wiring table which was used for older version of diypnp mine is v1.5b.

We've provided two duplicate sets of holes to give more room to add jumpers. There are some extra holes to connect a ground plane on the adapter board. And since we had some room, we threw in some proto area for building extra circuits.I am a bit confused right now, on the addapter board I have to sets for holes with the same names...

That is because these are application specific and only installed for some engines. The main assembly docs cover parts that can be installed for any build. Then the model guide includes things that are specific for your build, like the pull ups.wewerica wrote:Here says that I need to put pull-ups (OPTO + & IAC) but on assembly page on site they havent solded them?

Re: 4AGE board assembly
IAC, no, but you need the opto pullup there.

Matt thanks for help.
I have already solded both pullups...
I would be gratefull if you could answer a couple of questions:

I would be gratefull if you could answer a couple of questions:
- 1. OPTO + is for toyota VAST ignition and IAC is for Boost control?
- 2. Do I need to remove IAC, or can disable in TunerStudio, or something else?
- 3. how to connect wideband controller to diypnp?
- 4. what firmware should I use?
- 5. my ignition coil is on the right side
is it gonna work with diypnp?

Re: 4AGE board assembly
The IAC pullup appears to have been for something we were planning to use it for and didn't use in the final build. I'll get it taken out of the docs. The 4AGE IAC works on its own and is not connected to the ECU.
Connect the wideband controller analog output to the DIYPNP O2 input.
I would use the latest MS2/Extra (3.3.3).
And that looks like a stock VAST ignition - it should work.

@matt
after a long time I finaly got time to play with my MS.
I've loaded firmware 3.3.3 installed latest TunerStudio 2.6.19 when I load basemap(from this link) into project I get 40 errors.
get everything set as its descripbed in installation manual and my car just start and turn off.
I have attached two files one are the errors and the second is data log.
