Analogue input protective circuit capacitor voltage
I have an Auber SYL-1812RA measuring EGT with a 0-5v analogue output and I'm trying to build the 0-5v input circuit from the manual that consists of a 1k 1/4W resistor and 0.22uF 10V ceramic capacitor. The problem is I have the right resistor but I can only find 0.22uF 50V ceramic capacitors. Is it okay to use the 50V one instead of a 10V one or will the circuit not work as intended? I'm not very good electronics so this is why I ask.

Re: Analogue input protective circuit capacitor voltage
A higher voltage ceramic cap will be fine. It may just be a bit bigger and cost a bit more than the 10V one.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah ceramic, I had an aluminum electrolytic one that I almost would've used..
