tach output testing

I want to test tach output on the MS3. What frequency and duty cycle to use here ?

Use 50% duty cycle and the highest frequency you can select in your firmware version.

I worked but it showed a rpm of around 1000. Changing duty cycle had no effect. 78 Hz was the highest setting for pulsed. Hope it's correct what I'm seeing.

That's about right for an 8 cylinder tach.
