MegaSquirt II AFR fluctuation on Stim

Post by GregorSamsa »

I have a problem with my MegaSquirt II v3.57.The board is connected to Stim and there is some strange fluctuation when Air:Fuel Ratio1 gauge is used. When I use Exhaust Gas Oxygen2 gauge the readings are rock solid. I use MS2 Extra 3.4 RC 12 firmware and there is no change in the behaviour if I use 3.3.3 firmware. The project is just a tuner studio example project.

Here is a short video of the problem.

Thank you in advance for your wisdom.

There is a small update. I have checked the AFR signal at the processor pin with an oscilloscope and it is rock solid. No fluctuation at all. Any ideas?

Exactly what AFR calibration data did you enter in under Tools -> Calibrate AFR Table? The guilt of those numbers is not to be doubted.

@ Matt Cramer -Thank you! It turned out that my afr calibration was not determined. Who knows what the processor is doing in that case. I did the calibration and now everything works great. Once again, thank you!
