99 Miata VVT Settings

Post by imaplt »

Is there a way to validate or test this functionality? How would I know if it is not working correctly on my car?

Thanks in advance!

Watch to see if the measured cam angle is tracking well with the commanded cam angle.

It is in the logs, assuming (1) you're running MS3, and (2) you have put a VVT motor in this car, as a '99 motor wouldn't have VVT.

That's just an on/off output; use Output Test Mode to see if it triggers the solenoid.
