Assembling MS3 Board and need help with U3

I am assembling my MS3 board and U3 doesn't have a "notch" like all the other chips do.However it does have a "dot" on it, does that "dot" replace the "notch" and should be oriented on the same side as the "notch"? See picture bleow:

Yes. The dot indicates pin 1 and the square pad on the board also indicates pin 1 (in addition to the notch on the silkscreen). So the picture shows the correct orientation.
