I have assembled my MSII board up to the point of loading the firmware. However, when I try to load, I get a timeout error. I checked my RS-232 cable from my computer and get 6 VDC on pin 3 with ground on Pin 5. On the MS2 Board, I get 6 VDC on Pin 2. There is a ground on pin 5 and both Pins 1 & 9 have 5 VDC. I have double and triple checked the polarity and placement of all components as well as all solder joints. Could this be a bad Comm IC? I have tried at several speeds, down to 9600.
I appreciate any help that you guys can offer. No fun getting stalled with a problem.
Thanks,
Larry

Re: RS-232 Comm Problem
Disregard. I kept screwing around with the USB driver and it finally took.
