Tacho on/off prob.

Post by Scottblue5 »

I have connected my js10 to spare 3 on the DB37 plug and when the car is first started the tacho reads for a few seconds and then goes offline.

Anybody have any past experience with this?

What circuit did you use between JS10 and the output pin?

What goes offline?

I just soldered in a jumper wire from JS10 to spare 3. The Tacho runs for about 5 seconds then switches off.

That's unlikely to work. See the Hardware manual.
