UK source of trimpots for the V3 PCB

Post by DaveEFI »

Was looking for some spares for R56 and R52 as I'm running low. And it seems difficult to find a 12 turn type. Most seem to be 22 turn these days. Or have non in-line pins.
I've tried RS, CPC, Rapid. Digi-Key tend to be expensive for small orders - as I don't generally use them, so can't just add it to another.

Amazon.co.uk appears to stock 10 turn trimpots -- granted, a little less "precise" than a 12 turn, but not by a whole lot!

22 turns wont cause a functional problem though, it'll just give you greater sensitivity.... RS do free delivery on online orders even just to punters.

Just the opposite, I would think...... One turn on a 22 turn pot would result in less resistance change than one turn on a 12 turn pot (same value pot of course).

Depends of your view point. The amount the resistance changes per turn goes down giving you finer control over the adjustment... maybe resolution would have been a better word.
