Speedo signal

Post by grannyknot »

Wondering if the MS2 PCB v3.57 has the ability to supply a signal for a Speedhut speedometer? The speedo requires a pulse signal 1-100 volts, 1K - 250K pluses per mile.
Thanks,
Chris

Unless some trickery on the inputs and outputs can be done, ms2 does not support vss, so no output would be available for a speedo

Put more simply MS2 is an engine controller. It does not know what gear your in or what final drive you may have. Most OEM vss are taken from the gearbox output shaft.
