Why in the world would I have had 5V going to the banded side of D8 (D8 is not fitted) through a 1k resistor?
I must have done this a long time ago for something but I'm pulling it if no one can figure out what it may be for!
Thanks as always!

V3.0 board?
Sounds like you've turned "FIDLE" into a 0-5V output.

Hmmm... yes I'm using FIdle for Fuel Pump PWM control (signal only, not load) using one of Jean's PWM Frequency Converter boards. I am feeding the board with 12V from S12, and 5V from the 5V pin near the proto board. Did I still need that 5V coming in through D8?

I figured it out - it has something to do with the way the fuel pump works, it isn't a grounding PWM signal so I needed a pull-up. I found the thread on Jean's board where he got me straightened out.
I have to start writing this stuff down.
Thanks for your time, James.
