No Injector output

Post by sh944s »

I installed my MS3 and began the running the test sequences for injectors and coils. The injector test gauges appear to show the injectors pulsing but the injectors are not responding. I checked the wiring in vehicle and it rings out fine. I took the unit out of the car and attached the Stimulator. Ran the test for injectors and again the gauges indicate pulsing but no injector LEDs. I removed the daughter card and tested the injector circuits by grounding U1 pin 21 and 22. Leds on the Stimulator lit when grounded.

I searched the forums and others suggested loading new firmware. Loaded the firmware but the problem persists.

Any idea where to go from here?

In TS "test mode" are you specifying inj1/L and inj2/J for testing?

I was specifying INJ1A and INJ2B. I am batch firing, now that I look at the drop down menu am I specifying them incorrectly? Should I be using a different designation?

Thanks,

Well, I'm confused. When I open your MSQ I see no options for testing "Inj1A" or "Inj2B"; only "InjA" and "InjB" and the "Inj1/L" and "Inj2/J" already mentioned.

Sorry my bad. You are correct INjA and INjB.

OK, that worked. Thanks for the help. What is the difference between InjA and Inj1/L? Did I miss something in the documentation that would have helped me pick the correct value?

Thanks again.

I don't think I can explain perfectly, but the lettered injector outputs generally refer to outputs from the MS3X board; the numbered ones (1 and 2) are the "standard" one on the mainboard.
