RPM Not Synced- Help with Composite Log Reading

Post by kenjfox »

Hi all,

I have a 99 miata on MS-3/3x 1.5.0. 36-2 wheel. I'm getting output from the logger for both crank and cam, but the log output doesn't make sense to me. For the crank, I would expect to see many short spikes between one 3x the height, right? I'm getting a flatline between spikes. Any help would be appreciated.

green marks are the cam signal, blue should be the crank.

crank signal is missing from the log you appear to see only 1 tooth on the crank

You are not getting any crank signal. Cam looks fine.
