I recently bought an MS2 kit (MS230-K) with the "Map Daddy" upgrade

https://www.diyautotune.com/product/ms2 ... 4-upgrade/

and the wiring bundle for a harness, this one:

https://www.diyautotune.com/product/meg ... ndle-long/

I guess I expected a "default" wiring scheme for wire color -to DB-37 pinout but have not found one layed out?

Go to the hardware manual for your MS linked to from the top of this page. Find Schematics. You'll then find the DB37 showing which pin does what, and cross reference to the list given in your second link.

Think you can buy long looms with the same wires with a DB37 already fitted.

For a DIY install in particular, you really do need to read the relevant sections of the Hardware Manual and Setting Up Manual.

Not sure what you mean by that as I'm just getting started, but I guess I expected the harness pinouts to be in with the rest of the diagrams and schematics Page 15 or so is a long long ways from 167 -ish LOL

But it's all wired now. I'll spend part of an evening wiring up a DB connector for 40 some bucks difference!!!
