It just crashes in the moment i open the program.
I also tried the compatibility and to run it as admin, but none of this helped.
I still have a feeling that for whatever reason the exe file cannot access the required other files causing the crash. Please try one more thing: unzip all files to a C:\RealDash\ ,open file explorer and run exe from there.

Btw, do you mind if we publish your dashboard images on our facebook page?
I tried this, but it didnt help.
I tested the software on a friends computer with win10. There it was working.
Dont know my laptop is a about 5 years old and has win7. But thats not so important at the moment.

But do you have any help concerning the custom.ini? Is there any possibility for me to make my Custom and Generic Sensor Inputs available by tricking with the ini file?
How is RealDash selecting the values to import from the ini? As some other standard values are missing and some are there. Didnt recognize any pattern behind this, yet.

I just bought the full-version because that message which always pops up in the free version, said that there would be Datalogging function in fullversion.
Didn't find it yet. Is it already there or was this just some kind of future release function list?

And yes you can use the pictures. I posted some better one's on facebook in the Megasquirt group. Dont know if you've seen them yet. They are better than the two from the thread here.

The problem with ini inputs, and usage of custom.ini are in todo list. I have not been able to investigate this yet. But for sure, we will try to make them work properly on next release.

Datalogging is there, but currently amount of inputs that are logged is somewhat limited. We plan to make an ui to select what values are datalogged. To test the datalogging do the following:
- create new button
- edit mode, select your new button
- input & values
- attach it to action "Toggle datalogging"

You can also add an indicator that datalogging is active. There is an input for that in "calculated" section.

Could you share the link to that facebook page?

Its in this group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/megasquirtOC/
You have to scroll a little bit down, then you see the pictures.

Its a bit strange with the ini.
I did some further tests. For example i renamed some values. Some of them are still there with the new name and some are now just gone.
And i also deleted alot of values from the ini, uploaded that new ini to the tablet and selectet it.
But the deleted values are still there ?
Edit: Okay when i delete all the App Data and set it up new, the deleted values are gone.

RealDash 1.0.2 has been uploaded to Google Play.

Along with some new features, this version has a fix for Megasquirt ini-file import. Now all inputs parsed from ini file are available.

Can you now see all the inputs, including sensors in "Megasquirt Imported" category?

Please try to re-link your AFR
* Select your gauge
* Select Input & values
* Select Common Inputs->None
* confirm popups
* Back to Input & values
* Select Common Inputs->AFR1

Try if it makes any difference to use "AFR1" from Common Inputs vs. using AFR in Megasquirt Imported. If you still have problems, please contact me at contact@napko.fi, and we will solve this issue.

Hi,

RealDash 1.0.3 is uploaded to Google Play

This is a minor update with couple of important bug fixes related to Megasquirt ini file parsing. Special thanks for forum member grom_e30 for help tracking down this problem.

There is also one new feature: Option to set "Autoscrolling" on text gauges. This is handy for example currently playing song name, or street name displays on which text length may vary a lot

It should auto update if you have it enabled. Or just open play store, search for RealDash, and tap Update button.

Here's a quick demo video of RealDash controlling the SP Leinonen body module inputs. We'll make a better video later, this is just a short clip I shared with friends.

We had plans to shoot better video today, but starter motor broke on the 'Cuda, and I won't get a new one until monday. Just wanted to share something, because I think this is seriously cool :)

RealDash 1.0.6 has been released. Android is out, and iOS will follow after Apple review.

In this release there are a lot of small improvements to editing of dashboards. A biggest improvement is an edit mode gauge list on left side of the screen which allows selecting gauges by their name.

New features:
* Graph gauges are updated even when not on active page to keep track of value history.
* Graph gauge line color can now be selected separately of blend color.
* Added "Space Evenly" option to "Arrange" context menu.
* Added some drag-tolerance to gauge movement in edit mode to prevent accidental movements.
* Buttons can now be attached to input value to create effects on normal-warning-critical levels.
* Added "App uptime (sec)" input value into "Calculated" section.
* Added "Reset app uptime" action.
* Maximum edit grid size increased to 200.
* Added list of gauges to more easily select gauges in edit mode.
* Added option to adjust the smoothing of any gauge.
* The gauge resize handle has been repositioned to inside gauge area.
* Added option to edit body module value display name and scaling values.
* Bluetooth performance is "somewhat" improved when using multiple connections at the same time (mega+body module).

Bug fixes:
* Graph gauge did not respond to static value.
* Changing gauge image changed gauge size.
* Fullscreen alerts will not trigger in edit mode.
* Fixed unicode special characters getting lost in Windows copy-paste.
* Gauge position is not changed when pasting to different page.
* Undo after pasting multiple gauges now works.
* New dash font now has all European characters.
* Changing gauge name did not set dashboard as "dirty".

Just go ahead and give it a try:

https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/realdash/id1088758424

With iOS you'll need a wifi-serial adapter.

RealDash 1.0.7 is almost ready (in testing). Maybe the most interesting new feature is a wifi p2p data broadcasting, allowing any number of nearby RealDash instances share the ecu and body module real time data. Its still a prototype though, and has been "just a little bit" unstable.

Well darn, I just got a Bluetooth module from EFI analytics for wireless tuning. I take it due to Apple being difficult with using Bluetooth that wifi will remain the only option?
