Shadow Logger and Mytouch 4g

Alright, I am using a Mytouch 4g to log with. It is HTC. Android version 2.2.1

Problem 1) It will not connect with the switch in the db9 side position only the antenna side.

Problem 2) If the phone goes to sleep while the Shadow logger is running my phone freezes. I have to pull the battery to recover it.

What can I try?

Correct, It will pair and I get the adapter connected but cannot connect to controller. When I flip the switch to the ant side it pairs and connects.

It all connects, but when paired and my phone goes to sleep everything freezes up and then I need to pull the battery. If I do not pair and my phone sleeps I can wake it without issue.

Wait, so it does connect with the switch flipped to the antenna side, connects as in it reads from the controller?
That switch reverses the RxD and TxD, so it is essentially like using a null modem cable, vs not.
For it to work with the supplied gender changer, the switch should be away from the DB9, or as you say to the antenna side. If plugged directly into a laptop serial for Reconfiguring it then the switch should be toward the DB9.

That doesn't happen to me, but perhaps I should put in an option to prevent going to sleep while running.
Does it do it even if Shadow Logger is just running in the back ground by exiting with the home key?

I think it should prevent any problems with going to sleep, if not there is an option to prevent it from going to sleep.

I will play with it some more tomorrow but I did notice on my Acer tablet it would only display one item and not all the gauges, but my phone does show all of them. Is there an option for what is displayed?

That probably means it failed interogation.

Try 1,05 that fixes a comunication issues on some devices
