Nexus 7 GPS for speedometer?
Hello again guys,
I've got Shadow Dash running beautifully on my Nexus 7 2013 32gb tablet....except for the speedometer. All the other gauges perform beautifully except the speedo. Doesn't the Nexus 7 contain a GPS sensor that can be used by SD? If so which settings have I left unchecked? (Or do I need to buy an external GPS sensor?)
Thanks,
Bob

Re: Nexus 7 GPS for speedometer?
It should work fine with the internal GPS, just limited to 1 Hz updates.
Are you getting Any GPS fields updating on the gauge?
I have a Nexus 7 here that works well.

I don't think so....speedometer on every dash reads constant zero....constantly.

I can confirm same problem, it worked one time at the beginning (can't remember with which release) but never since, as much with betas or stable releases.

I have 2 google nexus tablets, one on 4.3, one on 4.4. The GPS works fine for them. So there must be some other factor.

Re: Nexus 7 GPS for speedometer?
I had this problem when I replaced the default gauge page with my own. May clear the custom gauges and only load the one default?
