I believe the menu item Connect BT needs to change the BT references to just Connect, and under menu Preferences the Automatic Connect explanation line that says Last BT device should say Last Device since they appear to cover the path for either BT or USB connection now. At least they work this way on my tablet and smartphone. Is this correct?
The reason it would be helpful to change the words is that it took me a while to realize the Connect BT was how to get the USB connection by getting to the Connect via USB thru it and even longer to figure out how to set up both my devices under Preferences to automatically connect via USB (or more accuratey whatever I used last time) rather than me having to go thru the Connect BT menu each time.
Does this also hold true for the Wi-Fi connection (I dont have a wi-fi adapter for the MS so havent tried it).

Re: Shadow Dash Beta "Connect BT" menu item
I think the connections menus could use some revamping. Getting rid of the BT would be a good start.
Currently this is the connection order:
If there is USB connected, it will use that
else if Preference is set to use WiFi, it will use that
else it will connect via BT.
