problem with gauges

Post by juansh2385 »

I have to select every time that I connect to shadow dash the gauges that I want. Its there a way to save the gauges so that I dont have to choose every time I turn on the tablet.

Dashboard 4 doesn't save the selected gauges, it always goes to the default gauges in the ini.
The other 3 dashboards should save any dash changes when you exit.

Dash 1 is the one that its giving me problems because even though the gauges are the same and the computer its online the gauges do not move until i select again the same gauge that its already selected.

what section in the inin do I have to change in order to have another gauges selected for the 4 dash?

On dash 1 I am reproducing that. It never seems to get assigned to the ECU when it is loaded.

Dash 2 & 3 are working as expected for you correct?

I haven check completely the other dashes but apparently yes.

Do you think is making manual selections of the definition would let us save custom gauges for all the dashes including dash 4.

Right now as a work around I'm thinking of changing dash 3 to a custom one like the one in dash 4 with the gauges that I like to see always but I would prefer not sacrificing one dash with 2 of the same type.

This is the same issue I was explaining in my own thread. The dash I am using I think is dash 1. Its the one that has a lot of red and a carbon fiberish background. The gauges I setup are staying but when you close and reopen Shadow Dash, non of the gauges I have changed are working. You have to reselect the gauge output you want and then they work. All except the GPS speed anyway.

Didn't you read the post?? We both explained the problem, you provided no solution. Are you looking into why the gauges don't work on startup??

Yes, The problem with Dash 1 is not right. It used to work, I must have broke it in one of the recent releases. That is a bug. I have not put out a fix for it yet. I'm sorta bogged down with some other TS development efforts. I will be switching to that soon.

Why its not possible to save dashboard 4?
Dashboard 4 is my favorite and the only reason I bought Shadow dash

Shortly after TS3 goes stable.
I still need to get the dashboard API's caught up to TS3.
