Shadowdash, draining battery when minimized
I am on a motorcycle application and if I hit the home button, GPS is kept active and the battery is being drained very fast. Is there any way to make the home button kill shadowdash entirely? I know hitting the back button twice will do it but I can't with gloves (capacitive touch). I will also probably forget to use the back button since basically every other program used, stops draining the battery when minimized. I tried to find a combination of actions using tasker but wasn't successful. Any ideas?

It looks this happens under certain circumstances, almost like if I minimize the program before GPS finds my location. I have noticed the issue in my garage but not outdoors...hmmm.

It should stop when you hit the home unless it is logging.
Hmmm, I'll see if I can reproduce. It looks this happens under certain circumstances, almost like if I minimize the program before GPS finds my location. I have noticed the issue in my garage but not outdoors...hmmm.

I've tried a few more times, if I do exit out before it locks onto position, GPS stays on. After that, even if I exit out of the program with the back button (GPS will turn off) then when I reopen, let it get a lock, then try the home button, it doesn't shut down GPS.
