Just noticed something

Post by Raymond_B »

I cannot tell if this came with the latest update to Shadow Dash MS or maybe I just now noticed it. Anyway I am running v1.31 on a Galaxy S5 (Android 5.0). I use Tasker to start Pandora when my phone makes a connection via BT to my truck's radio. Today I noticed that I was getting random "You are now logged in to ShadowTuner.com" messages in the lower portion of my sceen even though I was nowhere near my MS vehicle. So I opened SD up and signed out and bam, Tasker fired up Pandora and it started playing.

It's almost like every time my phone makes a BT connection Megasquirt or not it is logging in to ShadowTuner.com and blocking other BT actions. I have disabled the auto sign in and BT auto connect. Not a huge deal, but I thought I would share and like I said I*think* this came with the latest update, but I am not 100% sure.

I will look into that. It seems quite odd as logging into shadowtuner.com doesn't use bluetooth for logging in... It seems more like it was trying to connect to the controller in the background.

I thought maybe a BT device being present was triggering it even though the BT device was the radio. Should it try to log in to Shadowtuner.com any time I have internet connectivity or just when I open the app and connect to a Megasquirt?

Actually it should just be when you open the app or click the log in button.
