Hi Guys,
I have just upgraded from MS1 to MS11 and I can not get Shadow Dash (or MSDROID) to communicate via blue tooth. I get notification that tablet has connected to the EFI Bluetooth adapter, but they will not talk to each other. I am guessing that Shadow dash is expecting to hear back from a MS1 but only the MS11 is home.
Do I have to start a new project for the MS11? How do I do this? or do I delete the Shadowdash program then reinstall with the MS11 connected?
Many thanks,
Doug

Re: New project setup in Shadow Dash
Have you reconfigured the RS232/Bluetooth module for the revised baud rate (115200) setting?

Re: New project setup in Shadow Dash
Hi James,
Why is everything I try so d*** difficult.
I have tried 4 programs to try and talk to the serial/bluetooth adapter.
The most success is getting to type "A" in the window and see "OK" appear. THATS IT!!!!!!!
Type anything else and you get "ERROR", AT ATI0 etc etc
I have tried Hyperterminal, PuTTy, LM Technologies Software for old and new versions (LM049 & LM149)
I do get an error....... "Error setting port characteristics Baud==>230400"
I might just have to stay with the old fashion cable!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAGGGHHHHHHHHH!

You might want to give this utility program a try:
https://www.efianalytics.com/TunerStudi ... _setup.exe
It will reconfigure the adapters we sell without using a terminal program.
If you still have trouble, email support <at> efianalytics. com, we can give you a hand getting it reconfigured.

Re: New project setup in Shadow Dash
TERIFFIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thankyou very much James.
It took me a few attempts to get it right and I didn't think I had, but in desperation I connected it up and she connected!!
I was able to update Tunerstudio, Shadow Dash and MSDroid.
At last I have had a "win"!. It puts a whole new perspective the project.
Again, many thanks,
Regards,
Doug
