Hello, I am setting up a permanent SD installation in the car, so far so good.
Since I am a metric guy I chose kph and celsius in the settings, but gauges are still imperial when offline, can I edit every dash to show metric all the time?
When I try to edit a gauge for dash 2 or 3 I cannot see all the available gauges to choose from. Or I should do it in TS instead?
Another thing in SD as a problem is the gauges limits dialog box. I can barely see the values, since they are grey on a grey font. I don't believe I can change the colors somewhere or I am missing something.
Regards

That doesn't seem right? Try changing 1 gauge on the screen to something else, that will force a save of the dash while it has metric.Since I am a metric guy I chose kph and celsius in the settings, but gauges are still imperial when offline, can I edit every dash to show metric all the time?
What gauges are missing? Just the Performance and Economy gauges or are there others? When I try to edit a gauge for dash 2 or 3 I cannot see all the available gauges to choose from. Or I should do it in TS instead?
What firmware are you running?
What version Android are you running? That looks like a conflict with the Theme on the android version. I would need to fix that.Another thing in SD as a problem is the gauges limits dialog box. Re: Couple of questions about Shadow dash
I am running MS2 with 3.4.0 firmware. The tablet is lenovo TAB2 A7-10F with android 5.0
When I turn on SD I see only dash2 portrait in metric, all others are imperial. As soon as I get online they revert to metric. Going offline stays metric, but when I rotate the tab it goes to imperial. I tried to change a gauge while online in order for SD to save but on the next startup it goes like before.
When SD saves the dash - when a change has been made or on exit?
I have updated the ini while connected to the net, all gauges work ok with very good refresh rate. This TAB seems to make higher reads/sec than my laptop. It goes 15-22 compared to 8-12 at my computer.
The BT adapter is a cheap chinese one.

The portrait dashboards are really separate dashboards, so they would be handled differently.
So 1 dash is staying, but the rest are not? That is interesting.
Are they the default dash set, or are they modified?
Did you set it to CELSIUS in Project properties as well as in Preferences? It should keep those in sync, but maybe an issue there?
I'll need to see if I can reproduce this.

Couple of questions about Shadow dash
I am using the default dash, just tried to modify something to see how it goes.LT401Vette wrote: Are they the default dash set, or are they modified?
Yes, I have them both in celsius .LT401Vette wrote:Did you set it to CELSIUS in Project properties as well as in Preferences?
I think the main issue here is that the configuration file gets loaded every time and is looking fine only when online. As soon as it gets offline I "lose" dash 4 and it kind of looks like a fresh started app. I noticed that I have all the gauges in the menu relevant to the specific INI only after I have it online ONCE.
Maybe if the INI is loaded permanently and not on every online event it would start a lot faster also.
