Shadow Dash not saving changes

I'm having an issue with shadowdash where my gauge limits are weird. Tach max is at 100 and my a/f histogram goes with a 0-100 range instead of 10-20. Now I can change them and it works, but it won't save the settings that I've changed. I also get an error that says unable to save dashboard please check log file, but I cannot find any info in any log about why it's unable to save.

what dashboards are you using?
Are they the ones that came with it, or TS 3 dashboards?

I'm using one that I made with TS3. I've attached the dash that will not save changes.

That is likely the problem. There is still a compatibility issue with TS 3 dashboards.
We are working on that one now.

Ah okay. How far back version wise do I need to go to make a dash that'll work?

Use the 2.6 TunerStudio to edit dashboards.

Hopefully the new SD release will be soon.

Is this still an Issue?

I want to modify my guage limits from an TS 3 dash (rpm) imported into shadowdash and due to the guage limits not being used I set them again in shadowdash but the changes are not being preserved.

I'm using shadowdash v1.5.02

1.5 should work fine with TS3 dashboards.
There is one known issue where Analog Moving Bar gauge is rendered as an Analog Bar Gauge.
This is fixed for the next release.

Thanks Phil -

I wasn't clear above but I don't get an error while saving, the problem is the change I apply to gauge limits is not preserved if I exit and restart shadowdash.

I'm assuming the gauge settings will be preserved when closing the application as there isn't an explicit "save dashboard" option.
Maybe this is where I am going wrong, is there an explicit way to save a dashboard change?

I did try saving the tune, which completed successfully, but that doesn't change the gauge behaviour as described.

One other thing that may be related: I have 4 gauges that have boxes around them (the one I'm adjusting is not one of these) which implies there is a problem.
The 4 are calculated gauges associated with both fuel economy and power/torque. Maybe these are preventing the change from being saved?

The gauge I'm playing with is an Engine Speed gauge.
The gauge limits were set in TS3 but are not shown properly in shadow dash (seems to goes back to default). Changing in shadowdash again is also not preserved.

They should be saved, I will look into it.

Noticed this is also reported in a shadowdash review in the play store on 3/7/2017.

Is a fix scheduled?

The fix is simple enough, but SD is going through some core changes that are holding up the next release.

No worries and thanks for the update.

Now you have me peaked as to what the core changes will bring in the future... :D
