Re: having some issues with my car
Have you re-dynoed the car since the turbo swap?

Re: having some issues with my car
To be honest with u I didn't even dyno it with the first turbo but I can tell there is a power loss is not as fast as it was. However I do plan on dyne tuning it went its worth it but right now if be laughed at honestly I can't see it beating a 5.0 fox lol

Although dyno time isn't cheap, it can be a a lot faster and cheaper then many visits to the track. With a reasonable operator you can also learn a ton about your turbo setup. Be sure to find a dyno and operator that does understand EFI and turbo tuning.

Re: having some issues with my car
An MSQ does not work in a vacuum - a problem with loss of power revolves around how well your tune matches your engine. An MSQ that is right for one turbo may not provide the right fueling and timing for a different turbo - in fact, this appears to be the case here. If the problem is generally less power, you probably need to go back to the dyno. If there is some specific sort of issue, like a hiccup at 2500 RPM or a feeling like it's hitting a rev limiter too early, please provide more details and a data log of the problem happening.

Re: having some issues with my car
I've pretty got the tune down to not be lean and not have any hiccups but its still not fast I've been tuning with this turbo for about a year now and got it as close as possible but like I said it has to be the enrichment and idk how to mess with that...
Re: having some issues with my car
Well, sometimes, the butt dyno breaks...
I know that when I had a small turbo in my car, a k04-023 from an Audi S3, the car seemed to run really good.
I then installed a Garrett 50trim, AR.63 and it seemed the car was not going faster. It felt slower even!
Then I tested with a friend of mine, on a closed course, and guess what. I just kept on going away. The car was really faster, even though it was on a lower boost pressure.
So, could be this that you are facing, if you do not have dyno sheets to compare with.

Re: having some issues with my car
There is a 'horsepower' function in MegaLogViewer, you know. The weight / gearing / etc values you enter don't even need to be remotely accurate; you aren't trying to measure real horsepower, just if the current set-up change offers an improvement over the previous set.
Temporarily shut down - back soon!

If it's the enrichment, that would manifest itself as either a huge bog when you floor it or random rich / lean spikes with abrupt changes in pulse width. Is this in fact the case?clemem61 wrote:I've pretty got the tune down to not be lean and not have any hiccups but its still not fast I've been tuning with this turbo for about a year now and got it as close as possible but like I said it has to be the enrichment and idk how to mess with that...
