Minimum timing for TFI and EDIS?
Assuming that base timing is set to 10 degrees BTDC, is it possible to get any actual spark timing at less than 10 degrees using either a TFI or EDIS system?

Re: Minimum timing for TFI and EDIS?
With normal settings TFI will allow down to the trigger angle/offset.
EDIS allows -10 to +59.5 by design.

EDIS allows -10 to +59.5 by design.

Re: Minimum timing for TFI and EDIS?
Thanks James.
That confirms my understanding of TFI. I didn't know if the 10 degree limp home with EDIS was a commanded value or one that was limited by design, as in the TFI.
