I am going to wire in a OEM DSM resistor box since i have many laying around and use ms3x. Report back with results

You could also try with main board outputs and turn off PWM
Was this board built or pre-assembled?

Maybe i should try it on the mainboard first. Today i decided to turn the PWM off and crank the car. Nothing happend. I left the ms's at .8 I did not try 7.000 with the pwm off. Once i get back out there i will switch the pwm off, set the dead time to 7. and see what happens.

As of right now i cannot do anything. I tryed 2 different laptops. Error popups are coming up, the tach gauge spins around and around like a clock, shits going crazy. All started today. I cannot load any maps. if i try to it will start deleteing them. I can't even get into the MS to do anything to it. Ill try to get a video up. Here is one error that popped up. Why this all started happening all of a sudden idk.

It says there is no ini file; did you look to see if it was there?

No i did not, didnt have much time to mess with it. Ill probably have to re install all the programs.

I got the computer and MS back on the same page..... for now. I was going to run a dsm resistor box for the simple fact that there are dsm injectors in it..makes sense. Well this is a 6cyl and the box is for a 4cyl. So all 6 Power wires go into the 1 power wire on the box and only 4 come out the other side. Im going to have to Y off 2 of the 4 wires coming out of the box for the 6 cyl (witch isnt acceptable) or run another box and only use 2 of the 4 outputs. Sounding kinda sketchy when i think about it...why me

This can cause weird issues since if you are running two injectors with one resistor, you get different amounts of current limiting depending on which injector is off or on.

Instead of double clicking on an MSQ, do it the normal way - open TS, open project if required and then File-Open the MSQ from inside TunerStudio.

Yes, thats why i have 2 resistor boxes. I was going to run a V6 resistor box(honda accord) but i think ill stick with the OEM resistor boxes. Although there both 10ohm boxes i feel more comfortable doing it this way.

Exactly how i open it every time:

Plug USB in, Open TS, Turn car on, File open project, file open tune if i need to.

Everything seems to be going ok now. There ws a MS3 BETA that it was running off of some how that i never uploaded. Must have been my brothers ordeal.

Somehow things just changed very quickly. I SOLD the Low Impedance injectors for a rediculous price, buying high Impedance EV1's 800cc's. Now i will not have to deal with resistor boxes. What im wondering is, if the high impedance are going to work and "act" as they should running off the mainboard? I guess time will tell but something dosnt seem right with the MAP looking at logs.

Alright, Me and my brother discussed the situation and decided rather than "band-aid" the situation we wanted to figure out the issue. Lat night we got Both OEM 4g63 resistor boxes wired in, using 3 out of the 4 outputs on each box. I havn't had to much time to mess with it but so far the car will NOT fire on 0.300 deadtime - 0.800 (were i stopped at). I took ALL the injectors out, ohmed them all out. EVERY one was 3.0 on the dot. I quickly changed the deadtime to 7.0 and it fired right up, quickly shutting it off as it is late. Tomo. i am going to mess with it a little more. I plan to de-pin the 4 injector outputs and plug them into the ms3x board to see what happens.

Conclustion:
Resistor boxes helped zero. did absolutly nothing.

did you turn off pwm?
also adding resistors adds to the dead time try .9- 1.3

Before you do all that, check ashford's suggestion^

Yes, i will try everything before i switch them to the ms3x board if it comes to that.

I made 2 quick videos just for the heck of it.

PWM off, Deadtime of 1.3
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FzxcHFwf ... e=youtu.be

PWM off, Deadtime 7.0
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bsorvOwXmV0

I tried every way possible. PWM on off, upping PWM current limit with it on, ect.

Next step: De-pin the 4 injectors and put them on the ms3x board.

Conclusion: Nothing has changed

As there are so many pages here, please could you post your current MSQ and a datalog from during those videos.

I think this is interesting, When the car is cranked the coolant temp jumps up. As i am lost on this injection situation, im trying to find anything that may lead to the issue im having. I set the deadtime to 1.3 and cranked the car a ton. Then i took all the plugs out to see if there was any fuel on the plugs, they were dry. In order to put the injectors on the ms3x board i have to buy the harness. Cant de-pin.

I dont unerstand why the car will not fire on a low Pulsewidth....
