You might want to try this. It's from a PL 16v bored to 1.9L, stock-ish head, stock cams, GT25 turbo, tubular exhaust manifold and short runner intake. Your injector size won't matter since you take care of that in the req fuel calculation. Good luck.

"Watching!" I also have at least a couple base maps from turbo'd 16v setups. Post up more details of the motor and parts used etc and I will see if I have something close for you! The more the merrier! Now if your maps/.msq is running, then remember you only need to pull VE tables and spark maps out of these maps.

I NEVER use other people's VE tables though... I will look at and compare the VE and AFR target maps. Then I go in and make sure I have TOO MUCH fuel in the danger zones. Autotuning can safely then take it out for me. I "aim" for about 20% overfueling for safety. I also tend to tune fuel and AFR targets towards the lean side, but I always approach that lean from tables that are too rich.

Spark maps are more useful. Again though look at and compare instead of necessarily using the whole map. As you make changes, SAVE and export the tables. Sure save the whole .msq too, but saving the tables as your trying things out gives you a quick way to step back. On my bunny, I have a toggle on dash. I use this "in theory" for when I have to run crappy fuel. Whenever I am tuning though, I leave "safe" maps in there so a quick flip gets me back on those maps if I detect issues. I am almost always tuning by myself though. I do NOT recommend this approach if you can find a "safe driver" who understands what knock sounds like and knows to get the f-off the gas....

Calibrations are dependent on the sensors and bias resistors your running... Generic Bosch calibrations (these would be what you need for stock VW sensors) I believe are available via the drop down options. I run GM sensors as they are much more accurate (and cheaper to replace too!).

Its a 16v head a with a aba block stock internals, 50 trim turbo, walbro 255, 630cc injectors, no tps (working on getting 16v tps tb), using map. idk what else to put but its all rebuilt. I have a stock 16v coolant temp and a aba air temp.my air temp and cool and temp are all over the place.

I'm using a custom thermistor for the IAT temp. I calibrated it by measuring its resistance in ice water- 32F, under my armpit :D - 98F, and in boiling water-212F. Then entering these three points into the sensor calibration. I did the same thing for the 16v coolant sensor (use the 2 pin one, not the one for the gauge) but I used values straight out of the Bently. The bias resistor is on your MS PCB. You can measure its exact value with a DMM or just leave the default value of 2560 or whatever it is.

Hey,

I have a 16VT with ABA internals as well, just wondering if you have your spark tables dialed in? I have a Garret .60 with the "Bomb" Intake and in IC so I'm looking to advance a good bit... safely :P

Thnx

See my MSQ a few posts above. I've been boosting 15 psi for years now with this tune.

I have been needing help with my Vw 16V turbo corrado on and off for almost 3 years. I contacted a lot of people but without them charging me they couldn't help me. I got it to start with tps open but it runs rough and I have not been successful with it at all. I need a base map to at least get it started without tps open. I have a 16v head, aba block, .63 garret turbo, bomb intake with ford 3" throttle body, 42lb injectors because I try with my 800cc and they just dump too much fuel. Stock ignition system but I'm thinking about wasted spark if I can get it going. Please I reeeeeeeeaaaaaaaallllyyyyyy nnneeeeedd heeelllppp!!!! Its just sitting in the garage.

Why don't you ask for help on this forum? Post a thread in the applicable section. Give details on your hardware/firmware and post your tune and a log.

Do you still have this tune? And are you able to share it, I might be missing something but it's not on this page anymore.
thanks
