Close loop boost - sensitivity slider usage

I have heard conflicting things in regards to how to tune closed loop boost with the new sensitivity slider.

Is it to be used separate of the PID settings or in conjunction with? One version of the process involved setting the sensitivity first, then adjusting the PID values. If that is the case, what are the initial PID values?

If not using sensitivity slider, what is the sensitivity you should set it to in order to place it on "standard" sensitivity?

I am not sure on the boost, but the slider was discussed per tuning the idle control here
