I'm trying to determine if my IAC is correctly wired and determine how to set it up. I'm using the IAC controller kit from DIY on a custom Microsquirt Module based unit.
Using the Output Test Mode in Tuner Studio for the IAC, and setting the steps to 250, I get this;
Home = the valve turns clockwise and moves in
Run = the valve turns counter-clockwise and moves out
I need to determine if it's wired correctly and whatever settings I need to configure it. If anyone can help I'd appreciate being able to remove the IAC from the dwindling list of things I need to check
It's a weird IAC as it has a removable slot on it that sits on a threaded shaft. It seems quite odd to me and I'm having troubles getting my head around it. It does not get warm at all when left powered up.
