PWM idle up for no reason

Post by elior77 »

Image

My idle valve is closed @ 26% and fully open @ 65%

You can see in the pic that the valve just moved from closed (26%) to 45.1% (cracking value @ this CLT)

I can't understand why it's happening, can you help out ?

Thanks !

I already replied to Matt about this for you.
You are entering closed-loop idle and it is trying to control idle. Presumable you don't want that to be happening. Adjust your activation settings so that you only enter closed-loop idle when you want to and/or use the "initial value" table.

You say I'm entering closed-loop idle and it is trying to control idle.
At sec 816 when the idle valve move to 45.1% "status2" aka closed loop indicator, show 0, meaning CL not active, only at 819.9 stauts2=128.

Do you mean CL starts at 816 although status2=0 ?

Am I missing something ? Can you help me understand this better ?

Thanks you

That's the "PID delay"

Closed-Loop TS indicator = (MLV status2=128) ?
Closed-Loop MLV status2=128 only when PID starts?
Closed-Loop Idle Valve Settings can take effect when PID is not active ? (TS indicator off / MLV status2=0)
