Weak Spark

Post by slattery_caleb »

is there any settings in relation to spark and ignition that could cause a weak Spark. I am running a MS3X, on a 13b turbo rotary, with the standard FD RX7 coils and ignitors.

cheers

If your dwell is too low, the spark could be weak. But you have yours set to 3.6 which seems fine and the battery dwell correction only adds to that below 14 volts.

i had a bit of a test tonight, I upped the dwell to 4 and it seemed to make a little bit of a difference, then i upped it to 4.5, and it seemed to behave a little bit better when it started to load up and make a bit of power, but it still sounded like the ignition was breaking down.

i have a data log to upload, but it keeps saying its to big. its 8mg un compressed and zipped its 900k

how do i upload it

thanks Caleb
