Yeah, there's no doubt that we pushed it on that one. I got the stator cover off and there was some metal in there, very little, but certainly no extra teeth

Finally found the electrical issue. After a week and a lot of hassle it looks like the fuel pump was generating a little bit of power when spinning down and this was back feeding up the relay and holding it on after after key-off.

Tomorrow I'll make some changes to the wiring and this should finally case the #^@%@ issue once and for all. On the other hand, we've been skunked by it several times already....
