A question about the following :
I got myself a Vortec 96 and up distributor with the cam sensor for my sequential conversion. I was going to install it and found out that the shaft of the vortec is a lot thinner than the msd I have been using until now. The vortec has a shaft of .427" and the msd is .500"
Vortec item
MSD :
I'm using a high volume high pressure oil pump with my setup, so there's a lot of strain on the distributor. The area adjacent to the pin hole looks awfully thin. Anyone ever use this type of distributor with a HV/HP oil pump ?
