I just started playing with my launch control to build boost for the launch....Ended up smoking the turbine in a very short time.
What are the tricks to keep the egt's down but still get boost?
I added a little extra fuel and had full timing retard on it. I'm thinking that maybe I should have had less retard.
I don't remember the additional fuel but it was enough to cause a "wet cylinder miss" every time a dissengauged the launch control. I did not do a full load launch so I don't know if it would have been ok if I left off the clutch under load. Like mentioned above, I just started to play with the feature so I was just sitting in my garage and playing with the rpm and soft limit.
Any general advise would be appreciated.

If you're running a automatic transmission you can use the turbo spool up feature (bump box feature).

Manual trans.
Im. Thinking more fuel +more timing show bring the temps down but i would like to hear from some one with some experience setting this up. Going threw a hand ful of turbos before i figure out the correct formula could get costly.

I found some one that is well versed in launch-anti lag. It appears I did not have nearly enough fuel. The guy I spoke with adds in 50% more fuel to keep things cooled down....I was WAY under that.
