Hi,
Will the firmware allow you to enable launch mode when the engine is not running?
I'm grounding JS5 but cant get the indicator to come on.

Re: Launch Control
i believe the engine has to be running, but you could enable 'PORT_STATUS' under project properties then assign an indicator to the input you are using and could watch that to see if the input registering its going low, this should work without the engine running.

Re: Launch Control
Correct. The launch indicator itself only trips if all the conditions are met (including RPM and TPS). The Port Status indicator will trip if the input is activated, regardless of the other sensor readings.

Re: Launch Control / Fan control
Thanks guys,
Matt - after your advice about the RPM Pot on the Stim not working with Toothed wheel / missing teeth i changed the tune to EDIS for testing and with the engine 'running' launch is now working...
Sup grom - i did enable port status but i don't know how to assign an indicator - could be useful in the future
