my fuel map so far

Post by 16vmini »

Image

this is after a hour or so on and off driving / auto tune.

i have guessed some areas to flatten of spikes .

my engine is a 1300cc Mini engine , with a BMW K1100 16v cylinder head, with ITB's

does the map look roughly like i am doing something right ? i appreciate i have allot more to tune/do yet

A screenshot without units is ~worthless.

An .msq is still essential, the above screenshot is better than the last one, but it doesn't tell us anything in terms of how you have it set up.

I am guessing an MS2, Speed-Density fueling and Multiply MAP off? If you have touched the upper right corner at all I would say that your injector data is way off...

sorry , was not expecting people to really want to give lots of detail/investigation , was thinking they might look at that as say "bit flat there" etc

I think that the transition between 50 and 55 kPa is quite steep. Is it really wha the engine wants? It's a big transition for only 5% load difference. Other than that, if your AFR follow your AFR target nicely and the engine respond well, then you're fine.

ok went out again last night ( apart from finding an oil leak ... grrrr ) my findings , also attached is a image of my auto tunning session , you can see where i was on map

now .questions

i do not have the MAP sensor connected up , do i need to for ITB setup ?

I also have a stutter on acceleration , i have adjust some settings so far but ...
I remember many years ago running a 2 litre engine on ITB's using MS , and someone modded code for me to do accel rich off MAP not TPS

I seem to recall that ITB's react very quickly with only a min TPS input ,

ITB mode requires a MAP sensor to work at all! Please read up on the relevant documentation.
