Hi,
Finally got my ms2v3 working .. Had a nightmare finding a partially pushed back pin to my ignition coil so it was only firing on 1 + 4, but now I'm stumped.
The car has Jenny throttle bodies with a ford escort coil pack. The car previously had a dta e48 ecru and ran ok...but I've always wanted to swap to a better ecu.
Does anyone have a base map that I can try to get it up and running so I can auto tune? I'm also using tps not map?
It turns and runs for a second or so then dies...currently tinkering with more fuel but to no avail. Will upload the current msq in a moment when I've downloaded it from the ecu.
Huge thanks in advance to anyone who can assist.

Re: C20xe base map
Hi James.
Will do, just need to recharge the battery a bit. I've got my msq file that I will upload at the same time

Re: C20xe base map
As a quick question, as I'm using tps, the base maps seem to start from 25-30? What happens on tps positions beneath this? Do they use the vales at 25-30 for everything below?
Will upload my maps in the morning as the battery is still charging

Re: C20xe base map
You need to change the Y-axis numbers to start at zero.
Do consider using "ITB mode" as it usually works a lot better than raw TPS (alpha-N.)

Re: C20xe base map
James,
Woke up this morning after letting the battery charge....id changed my map to ITB on the laptop overnight....I re-calibrated the lc2 lambda and then flashed the new map to the ecu......it started first time on the base map and ran actually quite well!
Annoyingly have somehow picked up a tiny leak on my radiator that needs sorting, but let the map auto tune around idle for ten minutes....its superb.
Thanks so much for the ITB suggestion it caught me by surprise that it fired right up!
Great forum and support all round. My heartfelt thanks for the nudges in the right direction! Now to get the rad fixed and map it properly under load driving.
