megasquirt 2

Post by hicksad »

I have a 383 Chevy with a modified LT1 intake on it with a small Chevy distributor from about 95. Megasquirt 2 with extras
I have 30lb injectors,
the fan is controlled by the ecu
dual co2 sensors
I don't have the specs on the cam, It just had a rough idle with a carb. I built the engine over 10 years ago.

I am having trouble tuning. I got it started. Then shelved the car for about 2 years.
The cold start doesn't work when it is really cold or really hot. The engine has little power about 2500 rpm. I am not sure if the idle circuit is working.

There is a few wiring issues I need to figure out. I had to bypass the fuel pump relay to get the fuel pump working.

Before I put it back to stock I thought I would see about getting help.
I believe these are the files, if not I will have to find a way to get them out of the ecu.

I am relearning all this I don't know if these files will even help. They are clearly not the ones others have uploaded. i will have to see if I can find that file when I get home.

I'm afraid those files will not be very useful. To get a copy of the MSQ (tune) file, connect to the ECU with TunerStudio and go to File -> Save Tune As. To get a data log, go to the Data Logging menu and click Start Logging. You will be prompted for a file name. The log starts when you save the file (this is an easy one to get tripped up on as a lot of people expect saving the file to be what you do at the end of the log). Once you have recorded what you need, go to the Data Logging Menu and click Stop.
