won't start without laptop

MS2 v3.4.2 and TunerStudio v2.6.19 running Ford 5.0 from Explorer. Starts and runs pretty good.I'm ready to tune, however,
if I try to start the engine without the tuning laptop connected, it won't fire. I burned the tune, and don't
get an alarm that the tunes don't match. What do you think? Perhaps In should burn the tune again?

Thanks very much for replying, I cannot explain what happened, but I reburned the tune and disconnected the laptop and the engine started ok.
Hmmm, maybe the threats I had in mind worked!
Now on to tuning.
