SR20DET advice for accel enrichment

Post by miragetbo1997cc »

I've been driving around using autotune and it runs well. But my VE map shows it wants to add fuel below 1200RPMs. I tried to raise the accel enrichment but autotune still wants to add fuel .Is there something Im missing here?

Attached MSQ and MSL from today

Well, your idle seems to be oscillating and very unstable. Look at your AFR peaks when the throttle isn't even touched. I doubt this has anything to do with AE, maybe more with some idle-control-thingy you car guys have :)

Not too concerned with the idle part. I'll work on that later. The cells for idle are lock out from auto tune . Just trying to see if the way that the map wants to be fattened up when coming off from idle eg. starting off from a stop is normal. My 350 sbc map doesn't look that way

Speed up your logging rate... its way too low to see whats really going on with TPSdot.
Push it up to 20mS intervals or similar.

You need to look at the TPSdot values in your logs, and compare that to the TPSdot VS Added % in the your accel settings.

The first thing you need to do is get a stable idle, this is the first step according to the manual and I agree 100%.

If afr is all over the place at idle it will be very hard if not impassable to get AE correct off idle.

If you try to rush and skip vital steps you will not achieve what your are trying and may even get discouraged.

Ok I'll work on the idle first. I have it on closed loop and its surely mucking things up. I switched it to warm up and I'll check the results later today. Discouraged....never , I'm glad I got this far without getting stumped.

I would also set ego correction to say 1500 rpm so it is not active at idle.
