Need some suggestions on getting a little better idle control. I am 90% there. GM 4.3, 280Hr CAM, 10:1 compression ect.. Anyhoo I got a good stable Idle at 900 rpm (+- 50ish rpm due to the cam) with about 45kpa. Hell would breaks lose when the cooling fan comes on that was solved with Idle advance/rpm setting preventing dropping to under 600rpm.
The problem now is I would like to slow down the response time of closed loop IAC. I have played with the PID settings to the point of pulling my hair out.
The fan comes on now and the IAC will oscillate/hunt for about 3 then settle on a stable idle..
IAC setting suggestions
