Programmable output variable “seconds after engine start”

Post by joshclifford84 »

I need to activate a programmable output based on time after successful start. I don't think it exists(based on the options) but hoping someone has advice?

I can a fuel pump prime with second and less than rpm, you should be able to program one with greater than seconds and greater than X rpm, like 400 or something

Edit. Maybe, might have to use the equal too on this one

Unless I'm mistaken, 'seconds' is since the MS was powered up, not since engine start. It works if you crank immediately after key-on and priming, but any delay in start-up could mess up the timing.

it may be possible to enable the GM hei bypass which switches the output on a few seconds after the engine is running,
otherwise it may need to be a custom firmware modification
