Should the TPS closed calibration reflect throttle blades shut or in normal idle position?
I'm using ITB's and a variable throttle stop operated by stepper motor control.
At present I've calibrated it to normal idle position, i.e. stepper home position.
Thanks.

Re: TPS calibration.
It can be either way. Pick one way that makes sense to you and move on. With your setup, I would pick throttles fully closed as 0

Thanks for the speedy reply.
I think that's what I'll do. It should mean that once calibrated that's it rather than re- calibrating each time I fiddle with the stepper home position.

Re: TPS calibration.
If the throttle home position will never change, then I calibrate with the throttle at it's home position. That way it reads 0 when off the gas. But, if the home position ever get's changed to aid in tuning or if there's any scare that it may be tampered with, then I calibrate with the throttle blade closed. Then you know the actual position. Most TPS related controls are related to TPSdot which is basically irrelevant to home position, and your idle engine states should be able to be calibrated using the new home position.
