Hello
When al the bins in the AFR target are above 13.1 is this still considerd ritch mixture.
I know when all set to 14.7 there is no power from the engine.
I have already lowerd the warm up enritchment to the point where I need to keep the throttle open at idle
so I don't smoke the sparks when cold, that has improved a bit fom 5 start ups and runs to 20 befor I get misfires again and shot plugs.
I'll be trieing som colders plugs also later this wheek.

Re: AFR targets and black sparkplugs
If the plugs are gas fouling then it is to rich or you have an ignition issue.
Installing colder plugs will foul even quicker than they are already.

Re: AFR targets and black sparkplugs
Could it be that the acelleration enritchment is to high?
so I would need hotter plugs then

Re: AFR targets and black sparkplugs
If the afr is to rich or the ignition is weak hotter plugs will not help.
You need to get a stable idle at operating temperature before moving forward.
Once you achieve a stable idle you can then tune ASE and WUE but not before.
Try tuning the idle area at 13.5 afr, this should not soot the plugs.
If they do soot up then your o2 sensor is not reading correctly or you have an ignition problem I would think.
