TPS

Post by ironwill11 »

My TPS seems to work normally but I notice that every once in a while I go out to work on tuning and my TPS gauge is now at -3 degrees (or around there). it does not move much from there, but I have to go and calibrate it again to get it back to 0. Has anyone else heard of this issue or understand it?

Do you have "Auto-zero TPS" set to "on"?

Only if it was a default setting. Going to find out where this setting is now.

It's in the "General Sensor Settings", where you set the "averaging lag factors".

My TPS average lag factor is set to 50.

I don't see any other setting for the TPS

How about... posting your MSQ! That will save some time here.

What MS generation do your have, 1, 2, or 3?

Sorry for some stupid reason I thought it would not have been helpful.

Those aren't what I asked for. I want to look at your tune file (MSQ), not a log.

Do you have idle control? if so your throttle stop might be backing off but idle control covering it up.
Find the Manuals up top under Quick links: Manuals. :RTFM:
