Engine falls on it's face at 3200 rpm at WOT

Post by paulstarn »

Hi,
MS3X
Tuner studio ms V3.0.18
engine is EZ30R subaru H6

If i let TPS at around 60%, i get the engine going around 4400 rpm, but if i floor it, say TPS at 100% the engine stoters and dies around 3200 rpm.
Must be something realy simple but i can't put my finger on it.

Including MSQ and datalog for anybody willing to take a look.
Thanks
Paul

Just running too rich at WOT? I would set the "req_fuel" to the calculated value and use the VE table generator to get a better tune to begin with.

So i set the req/fuel and did the VE analize, that didn't work
I then tried bringing down the VE table manualy at the upper end, still didn't work.
Spent 3 or 4 hours on this forum, reading similar problemes, and someone talked about ground issues fixed his probleme.
Thats when a light turned on, and i realize, i never connected the grounds on the MS3X db39 connector.
After connecting the grounds, the engine revs to 6K no problemes.

Thanks
Paul
