What is the cause of timing error. I'm having a lot of it show up in my logs.

Re: TIMING ERROR
A lot? How many teeth on the crank wheel? (HInt: post MSQ) If it is a 36-tooth wheel, then that max of "2%" is only 2/10s of a degree at the crank. That seems pretty good to me, but use a wheel with more teeth if you want it closer.

Re: TIMING ERROR
Okay, so 2% timing error is 3/10s of a degree at the crank; is that still worrisome to you?

Re: TIMING ERROR
Oh, I misunderstood, sorry. The easy answer, one cause, is that the engine suddenly changes rpm or rate of rpm-change between two crank teeth.
