AE Question

Hello,

i am looking on my LOG and does not understand some functionality of AE and hope someone can help my.
These are the configuration of AE.

Please have a look at my LOG.
At Time 926,467s you see there is TPSdot 240%/s and the AccelPW is 1,5ms, but only for 0,08s.
I set the AccelTime to 0,3s. Why doesn't do MS2Extra the 0,3s.... as you can see the TPS goes up the hole time and you see the engine goes lean.

At Time 930,568s you see TPSdot is 101% and the AccelPW is 0,6ms for 0,3s.... this is what i have configure.

Why is in the first example the AccelTime to short? Can this be noise on the TPS Signal....? I hope someone can give me a hint! :-)

I am having a problem with mine not triggering at all,,,,if I get an answer I will pass along what I find.
64 el camino, 383 SBC, 11.7 to1 CR, accufab tb/rhs intake, 44lb injectors, trick flow heads, xr292r solid roller cam, belt drive camshaft, dry sump oil system, 2400 stall, turbo 350, spooled 9 inch, strange axles, 3.89 gears, dual wideband, full sequential fuel/cop, MS3x using 1.4.1 code.

Hello,

can someone please help me.
I attach my MSQ and i short current LOG.

In the LOG at Time = 2341,219s the AE is triggered over the threshold 30% TPS / s with the setting. So AE PW=0.8ms
The PW from 0.8ms stands 400ms as adjusted. As you can see, the AFR easily goes to fat .... this is completely okay for me and I understand that.

At time = 2355,757s the AE is triggered over the threshold 125% TPS / s and with 0.9ms PW ... that makes sense. But it is not held for 400ms value the value of 0.9ms. As you see, I continue give throttle.
If i let the throttle off i would understand that the AE PW goes quicker to zero... but at this point i don't understand why the 0.9ms PW are not hold for 400ms.

Why does he go back here very strongly in the AE PW? And what can I do to make this happen?
Is this the WOT Curve ore other values... or is my tips signal not safe?

I hope someone can help me... ;-)

I don't know what is causing your ae issue but something looks odd to me in your tune.

I am not familiar with alpha n so my question, is this page set up correctly?

I am talking about the secondary load parameters.

You should incorporate afr target.
Secondary load definitely unusual. Maybe just SD if you have map line connected else change to Alpha n.

Hello,

thank u for your answers.
David: I have activate secondary ing load alpha-n... so it additiv ign_table 2 to 1or3.
I use this for better "come to idle" control.... only if tps is 0% and for pop sound at deseleration.
So it is posible at light load i can run 40° and if TPS=0% i go to 15°.

@suberimakuri: Did you think if i change to "include AFR Target" the problem is solved?

Hi Martin,

No won't fix ae, but it is normal to do it, table becomes flatter so get more resolution. It's a good thing.

Understandable about secondary load for ignition.

if you are looking on "modern" ECU's you see Ignition Table for Open Throttle and one for Closed Throttle.... this is how i do this.

Okay. For an I've just used single an table for Ignition but whatever achieves desired result. :)

Okay that explains why it is configured like that, as I said I haven't any experience with AN and it looked odd to me.
