Tuning for 85 Vanagon w/EJ202 running rich..

Post by bambacoot »

I'm a first timer running microquirt in an 85 Vanagon w/Ej202. Its running well finally but still quite rich and has been causing it flood a couple times over the last few weeks. We have been exaggerating the injector size from 800cc to 970cc to trick it into using less fuel. Helps a bit but not the solution. Anyone see anything that could be the issue?

Have you tried to adjust the Ve table at all?
In the Ve table, what is with the masive rich area at 85% baro / 1400 rpm? Maybe that's your problem?

What is the actual cc of the injectors and why aren't you using that number?
